We continue to try and offer the best technical sessions that will apply to you and your current roles. If you have anything specific that you want to learn more about or are interested in, please reach out. We want to ensure that we are bringing awareness and education that peaks the interest of the members. Let me or anyone on the board know if there is something we can bring in upcoming months.
Looking for additional CEU’s? Take advantage of ASPE’s Read, Learn, Earn opportunities with a new course updated monthly. You can find the current course list at https://education.aspe.org/RLE . Each opportunity provides a certificate worth 0.1 CEU’s, and there are some great courses available.

I hope you are all enjoying the turn of the weather and can finally pack up all the winter gear for a few months. We have our ASPE golf outing coming up on June 4th of this year. We would love to see you all at Crystal Lake Golf course this year, so make sure to get your foursomes signed up now!
The Plumbing Board’s 2024 UPC ad hoc Chapter 15 Rulemaking Committee had completed their review process of the Minnesota Plumbing Code. They had a meeting on April 22nd to discuss any outstanding RFAs as well as to talk procedure and timeline of how the new plumbing code will get submitted and put out for public review and comment. any requests for changes will now have to be submitted for future code revisions and will not be taken into consideration for the 2024 rulemaking cycle

The Plumbing Board had their most recent meeting on March 17th where they began to go over the official recommendation for the new plumbing code. The next Plumbing Board meeting is scheduled for April 21, 2026

The State of Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) issues the CCLD newsletter that provides pertinent information regarding the construction codes.
