Speaker: Beth Tomlinson, PE, CxA, LEED BD+C

Ms. Elizabeth (Beth) Tomlinson, a Senior Mechanical Engineer, is the Facilities Sustainability and Resilience Leader for TKDA, a 109 year old full-service engineering, architectural and planning firm headquartered in St. Paul, MN.

Ms. Tomlinson has been involved in the design of high performance buildings for nearly 20 years.  In addition to energy modeling, building assessments, facility design and leadership roles, her experience also includes education, research and policy development.  In 2017, Tomlinson was appointed to ASHRAE’s Climate Change Position Document Committee, where she expanded the Society’s policy narrative to include climate change adaptation commitments within professional competence and expertise.  Currently, she serves as chair on ASHRAE’s international Climate Change Chapter Committee and the local Governmental Affairs Committee.
